Reflection
For semester one in Creative Photography I think that the quality of my work was good. I do not feel that it was great because I am personally not very creative with picturing things in my head of how I want it to be. I tried my best. I put in a lot of effort, but I feel that it does not look like it. I do not feel like I participated that much (getting involved in speaking in class about my projects). I feel like there is a lot of room for improvement for me and I will definitely be trying my hardest this semester. I need to adjust to the timing of uploading because that was hard for me last semester, that is also something I need to improve on.
The quality of my work as far as my images including contrast, focus, and composition I feel was very good and I think I have a good eye for taking photos. I also think the quality of the subject matter that I did for each assignment was also good. I think fulfilling the assignment to my full ability truly depended on the assignment, I think that if it was more photo based more than Photoshop based I did a better job on it. I did pay attention to the assignments and tried to take it further but as I said earlier I am not very creative but I id try my hardest and tried to take photos to the next level, I hope I can accomplish that this semester. I have always done the correct number of index print and images, that has never been a problem. I also feel that the I always used the proper format and resolution on all of my assignments. I have complete my work on time but my computer has had problems connecting to blogger so that has been a challenge. But I think I have done an okay job considering that. I also think I ave gone beyond my first ideas.
I have always been on time to class. I also work consistently throughout the block whenever we have an assignment. I lawyers work independently unless I ask someone to help me bounce off ideas. I do stay on task and work productively.
I do need improvement on creating my own style and expressing myself through the assignments and photos that I am doing/taking. I also do need more improvement on technically. I think my composition is good but there is always room to improve. I think I nee to take better photos and think outsides of the box. I also need to improve on confidence because I feel like I am not good at this class, and improve and think about stronger concepts for every assignment.
For this Semester I am going to try my hardest to improve in every area I can. I am going to try to become more creative and think outside of the box and try to show emotion and express myself through my assignments.
I thin k that we should do n assignment on lighting and how to get the correct lighting for certain settings.
