Creating a black and white filter and text on an image

-open up photo in photoshop

-go to the right panel and find adjustments

-find the black and white adjustment tool 

(add contrast and adjust brightness as needed)

-go to left side tools and find the T tool

-then click on the part of the photo where you want the text to be

-you can adjust the size of the text and font at the top of the screen

-to deselect the text press the pointer tool
-save your image
